Italian restaurants in Japan are either great or bad. Osteria Bava is fantastic. Drawn in by the sea urchin options and they did not disappoint. Wine was very well priced too and good quality. The amount of salmon roe on the pasta dish was amazing. The staff were attentive and friendly. Note to people who don't share their meals. Dishes are brought out one at a time. Even if you order two mains, one comes out first so you have to share! Luckily that's our style of eating anyway. An open kitchen where your order is made fresh! The risotto and pasta were al dente. Any Italian would be proud of the sea urchin risotto. Way cheaper than we've paid in Italy for the same type of food. Go there and enjoy, we loved Osteria Bava.

Everything we ordered was very good. Uni pasta, steak, and seafood appetizer that looked like gambas. Staff was friendly and attentive.
